Wassailing time!

Join us on Saturday for our annual Wassail. Wassailing is a traditional English ceremony that involves singing and drinking to the health of trees! We will start in Chinbrook Community Orchard (at Chinbrook Allotments) at 1pm for singing, dancing, crafts and refreshments. At 2.30pm we will parade down Marvels Lane with our new apple tree to be planted in the square by the WG Grace Community Centre on Lions Close. As well as tree and bulb planting there will be more singing and dancing as well as mulled apple juice and apple pies! The forecast rain won’t put us off, but if you prefer things drier then join us inside the WG Grace hall from 3pm!
